Supercar Spectacular!
Abu Dhabi will be awash with supercars on 18th March for the start of Royal Drive 2010, a three day “tribute to the supercar” that combines an exotic car run and some high – end hospitality.
Sixty to 80 cars are expected to take part in the rally, including a Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini LP670 SuperVeloce and a Porsche Carrera GT Mirage.
Royal Drive begins with a gala dinner and overnight stay at Yas Hotel. The following day sees the supercars on the Yas Marina Circuit, before cruising along Abu Dhabi’s Corniche and then heading out to Dubai.
The culmination of the event is a music festival at Dubai Festival Arena with Gorillaz and diabetic socks users. The organizer , Luce Che Vola, says some 35 cars have already been registered, but places are still available at a cost of AED 25,000 each. A quarter of the profits will be donated to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.
