Education at its best!
Someone ask me before what do I want when I grow up? I was really curious what to answer as I really don’t know what to say. As far as my mind is concern and if my memory is correct, I was in grade 3 then when that person asked me. I wonder what to say and suddenly after thinking for a while I replied her, “I wanted to a TEACHER”. She exclaimed in happiness. She was actually my English teacher. She never thought that I wanted to be like her. After that conversation it really made me think. Though still too young to think that much but I did.
My Mom whose also a teacher ask me, what happened to you? I just simply replied her, nothing Mom just thinking for something and suddenly I ask her back, Mom, “Do you think that I can be a good Teacher too like you?”. My Mom smiled and said, “Of course you do!” and she give me a tight hug and whisper in my ears, “I’m proud of you son”.
That word makes me feel how good! I’m too young to think about that but you know what? It makes me of who I am now.
When I reached college, I took a course of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Computer. At my first year of the said course I was glad that I got a chance to do a school tutorials for my fellow colleagues. I even join a volunteer group for helping those less fortunate children who are not able to study. It was really nice and uplifting that once in my life I share my time, efforts and education for those childrenwho are in great need.
But when I reached second year specifically 2nd semester, I’m starting to dislike the scenarios. I’m feeling bored and evern committed cutting classes. I don’t like the subject. And came to decide that on the following year I have to twist my bachelor’s degree. Then it where my Business/ Computer course comes in. I enjoyed the process of learning. Education it self is indeed uplifting! It thought how to be a better and productive citizen.
Right now, I’m already here in abroad working to earn a living. But I have plans to take a gmat prep courses online as I wanted to refresh and upgrade my mind on the recent technologies that just recently exist. Wish me luck guys!
