We’re a week into the fully-fledged web existence of Abu Dhabi Week – something near 1,500 pages of toil, sweat and tears over the last few months, and its not finished yet. We aren’t stopping there, of course: there’s already a long list of tweaks and extras for Phase Two, and a bit further down the road there’s Phases Three, Four, and more. But we’re quite pleased with what we got.

How about you? We’re keen to hear some feedback about what works for you and what doesn’t, what other things you want on the web, how we can make it more useful.

One of the directions we’re contemplating is to beef up the listings section and make it more of an online Yellow Pages style directory of everything that’s available for sale or rent in Abu Dhabi. Sometimes it can be difficult to locate all (and occasionally any) of the places you might need.

That certainly fits our view of the difference between Abu Dhabi Week on paper and Abu Dhabi Week online – the magazine is intended as an entertaining and informative read such like where you can the best deals on apartments, clothings, modern sofas, job hunting, and some other thins that human wants but it’s not designed for long-term reference. The website is a more appropriate place for comprehensive listings, not least because we’ve got the (cyber) space for them on thr web.

Talking of space, we can also put up different kinds of information – stuff that we would struggle to fit into the paper version. So you can expect a lot more what’s on details, more upcoming sports dates and time, and so on.

“A” PRIORITY Very important work by which you are measured in your job. Generally this work has to be completed that day and any delay has to be avoided. “A” Priority work is top priority work.

“B” PRIORITY Less important work that is related to your job but generally the work can be delayed if necessary and delay would not have serious consequences.

“C” PRIORITY Non-important work which does not affect your measurement directly and generally this work can be delayed, deferred, scrapped, screened out, or delegated to assistants. “C” Priority work is your lowest priority work.

“X” PRIORITY This refers to work that arises as an immediate demand, emergency or crisis and which requires handling by you. “X” Priority work interrupts your day and requires some sort of action on your part. The sort of action you give it will be “A B C” Priority as above. Therefore:

“AX” Very important – immediate action by you.

“BX” Less important – action which can be delayed or slightly delegated.

“CX” Non-important and should be delegated.

This was actually most of the time I used to follow at work to achieve the time management matrix I did for myself. Hope you guys will also take a look at this one and try to apply it on your self too. Okay! That”s it for now ’cause I still have to check an over the counter sleep aids as I am running out of time. My friend was actually asking me to help her find this one as he needs it for his report by this coming sunday at work for his safety awareness presentation. Enjoy the article everyone!

What is the difference between a ship and a boat?

The difference between a ship and a boat is size. Generally, a boat is a smaller craft than a ship. Ship is the more broad term for any oceangoing craft. A boat is a small vehicle for traveling on water. A boat can have oars, paddles, sails, or a motor to make it move. A ship is a large boat that can travel across deep water, such as a sea or ocean. A ship is built to carry people or goods for a long distance. A ship is propelled by sail or power only. However, there are two notable exceptions: submarines are officially boats and ore-carrying vessels that traverse large lakes are also called boats.

What is the difference between discreet and discrete?

This is another pair of homophones (words that sound alike but are different in spelling or meaning or both) that can be very confusing. Discreet implies the showing of reserve and prudence in one’s behavior or speech. Discrete means something quite different – ‘distinct, separate, unrelated’. Both words derive from the same Latin word discretus and for a long time these words were each spelled two different ways, but eventually came to be differentiated in spelling as well as in meaning. Discreet has yielded the noun discretion, but discrete’s noun form is discreteness. Examples: They tried to be discreet about their unapproved friendship. / The course is broken down into 10 discrete study units.

What is the difference between empathy and sympathy?

Both empathy and sympathy are feelings concerning other people. Sympathy is literally ‘feeling with’ – compassion for or commiseration with another person. Empathy, by contrast, is literally ‘feeling into’ – the ability to project one’s personality into another person and more fully understand that person. Sympathy derives from Latin and Greek words meaning ‘having a fellow feeling’. The term empathy originated in psychology (translation of a German term, c. 1903) and has now come to mean the ability to imagine or project oneself into another person’s position and experience all the sensations involved in that position. You feel empathy when you’ve “been there”, and sympathy when you haven’t. Examples: We felt sympathy for the team members who tried hard but were not appreciated. / We felt empathy for children with asthma because their parents won’t remove pets from the household.

Interesting right?… Hope you guys can took something out of this! Okay! Got to go for now ’cause I still have to check this cattle supplies I’ve found earlier this day. I just remember my Granpa bout this one. Have a great day everyone!

Do they? Or should my question be like this do you care about exit sign? How often you do care about it? Is it all times when your inside the building or on the middle of the road, or even on your personal life? Do you think that Exit Sign plays a crucial role in nation building? Personally, based on my own perception I do believe that exit signs is indeed vital in our day to day ramblings. Literally speaking, exit sign means “a free and available passage way where every people is encourage to locate it first before indulging such transactions inside the building or likewise locating the nearest exist sign when it happens that your driving a car in the middle of the road in order to avoid possible accidents and eventually save yourself from danger and harm”…

If we try to relate EXIT SIGNS in our personal life it means a lot of things. As normal person who keep on striving the obstacles of life we tend to search our individual exit signs in order to breath once more and continue to fight the battle that we called “life”. Remember, as humans gifted with creative minds we are able to do things beyond our control that might possibly put us in harm. Perhaps, we could say that we just want to explore things but little do we know through that exploration we’ve done things that are beyond our limits already. So, as we all traveling along in our way to fulfillment we will really meet those times that we need a break and likewise we have to adopt the possible exit signs which we think is absolutely recommended for our self.

Nevertheless, exit sign means several things. It matters on how people perceived about the particular word. But obviously most of us here think that its the common word used for safety which I believed is absolutely right! Whatever your perception about exit signs it all matters. The bottom line is exit signs means “saving life“.
